The public works crews are out today clearing the streets. Snow and ice crews will focus on primary routes first, including arterials, bus routes, and designated emergency routes. These roads will continue to receive treatment as long as necessary to reduce hazardous driving conditions. Once the primary routes are able to be left in a reasonably safe condition, attention will turn to secondary and residential streets. The safety of the crews and the City equipment make it impossible to get every street immediately.
No residential garbage collection today. All customers of Allied Waste can put out all of their garbage, recyclables and yard waste on the next regularly scheduled pick up day.
There will be a free bulky yard waste pick up at City Hall on January 3, 2009.
The Court office will be open on Friday, December 26, during regular business hours.
Passport office reopens on December 26, 2008 from 1 pm to 6 pm. Passport office will also be open on Saturday, Dec 27, 2008 at 10 am - 3 pm.
