What's happening on the Burke-Gilman Trail upgrade?

King County has submitted almost all of the information the City requires in order to finalize the required staff report on the conditional use permit for the Burke-Gilman Trail update.

The City anticipates receiving the information from King County and sending official notices out next week. The notices will be sent to adjacent property owners and to the people who sent comments to the City.

In a hearing before the hearing examiner the City provides a written staff report. The staff report will be available three weeks prior to the hearing and will be posted on the city web site. Testimony on the staff report is welcomed and encouraged. Comments can be made either in writing or at the hearing. The City is preparing for a mid-January hearing before the hearing examiner.
