	News Release Date: March 1, 2006 Contact: Sarah Phillips City of Lake Forest Park 206/368-5440 Tree Ordinance Task Force Appointed The Mayor appointed six citizens to a task force to review the current tree protection ordinance and to make recommendations to the City Council for any changes to the ordinance. The task force will make recommendations to the City Council for a consultant to assist in reviewing the tree protection ordinances in other cities and the best available science related to tree removal, replacement and care. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall. The review and recommendation process will include opportunities for public input.
