North Urban Human Services Alliance Announces Free Skills and Resources Training on March 29, 2017

The North Urban Human Services Alliance (NUHSA) is holding "How Can I Help You," a free skills and resources training on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at Shoreline City Hall, 17500 Midvale Avenue N, Shoreline, 98133.

“One of the biggest obstacles to helping others often is the simple fact that we don’t know how. We all want to be helpful, but when we don’t have the skills or resources, being asked to help by someone in immediate need can be daunting.” – NUHSA website

The “How Can I Help You” workshop is for anyone who wants or needs to know how to assist those facing hunger, homeless, and more; and/or whose job puts them on the front lines. Learn what local resources are available for people in need, and how you can help connect the two.

Featured panelists:
Tamara Piwen, Center for Human Services
Alex Williams, 2-1-1/Crisis Clinic
Deputy Paula Bates, Shoreline Police Department
